Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) March 27, 2008 - Minnesota Women’s Source presents the first annual “Kiss It GoodBye” event
“Minnesota Women’s Source has grown so much over the past two years; we are at the point where we can execute an event like this. One of the main principles we were founded on was giving to our Community, this cause is one that hits home for so many of us, too many of us.” – Heather Piehl, founder

Minnesota Women’s Source; a Community Showcase of Women’s Source, will be presenting it’s first annual “Kiss It GoodBye” Breast Cancer awareness and fundraising event on May 3, 2008 at the Marriott Airport location in Minneapolis.

The event is two tiered and will consist of the following events:

- From 10am to 2pm the Junior Ballroom will be full of vendors catering to the needs and interests of women. This is a great time to come with your girlfriend, sister, mom or daughter to shop a room full of products just for women! This part of the event is free and open to the public.

- From 2pm to 4pm the Junior Ballroom will transform with a lively, high energy fashion show featuring models that have been touched by Breast Cancer either by fighting the disease themselves or by having a loved one who has fought and won or is no longer with us. The fashion show will feature an emcee and music provided by First Class Dances (www.firstclassdances.com). This part of the event is open to 50 ticket holders. Tickets may be purchased for $8 in advance or $12 at the door the day of the event.

Women in Business Giving to the Community
Women’s Source was founded with certain principles one of them being the act of giving back to the community. There are so many women business owners out there who feel the need to give somehow; with this event they are given an avenue to do so. It is important to be grounded to your community with strong roots; an event like this is a way to expand those roots. Many of the women involved with this event have been touched by Breast Cancer in some way and many already donate their time to the cause with other events. This is another way for them to show their support, honor a loved one or celebrate the good health of themselves and loved ones. This event is a chance to celebrate not only women in business but women in general as well as to honor those who battled Breast Cancer. This event is as much a celebration and bonding experience as it is a fundraiser.

Information on this event can be found by going to www.kissitgoodbye.net. Vendor sign up and sponsorship information are available on the website – detailed listings of participating vendors, sponsors, speakers, fashion show participants and other surprises will be posted as they become available, also.
