October 12, 2007 - Becker, Minnesota : The Minnesota Women’s Small Business Expo and Sale’s fall 2007 event will be held on November 17, 2007 at the Maple Grove Community Center – 12951 Weaver Lake Road Maple Grove, MN. The hours of the event are 9am-4pm.

Women for Women by Women
The focus, vision and mission of Minnesota Women’s Source is to bring Minnesota women (and some non-Minnesota women) in business together to motivate, support, inspire and network with one another. Part of the organization’s mission is the Minnesota Women’s Small Business Expo and Sale, a bi-annual event showcasing upward of 75 women representing their businesses. It is an event that is first and foremost a networking experience for the showcased women but also an opportunity to present to the public their products, home show offerings, business opportunities and a bit of pampering. It is a day filled with fun and celebration of women in business as well as women in general. This event will feature a “Total Relaxation Spa Experience” – spa services will be offered to the public for a small fee. At this event the first 500 women through the door will receive flower compliments of a local florist. There will be prize drawings throughout the day, door prizes and other surprises. This event will also feature free presentations throughout the day given by women on various topics targeted at other women.
The 2007 fall event will feature 80 showcased women owned businesses ranging from direct sales, brick and mortar boutiques, home based businesses and services as well as other service related businesses. Businesses will offer information, samples, demonstrations, products for sale, chances to book home shows, prizes, opportunity to learn more about their businesses and networking opportunities for outside women business owners.
The Minnesota Women’s Small Business Expo and Sale events strive to be different from the other expo events out there in that the focus is truly on women in business, catering to customers and clients as well as a strong focus on networking.
