October 24, 2009 - South Bend Indiana - With a commitment to help and recognize Veterans, MilitaryPlaques.Com is joining the upcoming celebration for Veterans Day. MilitaryPlaques is pledging to contribute part of its proceeds to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust.
According to statistics, there are about 24.5 million living Veterans in the United States. Many of them are disabled due to war injuries, old age, psychological traumas and the likes. According to the Veterans Affairs, there are also more or less 131,000 homeless veterans.
Support groups and charitable institutions are taking part in helping our war heroes who need physical and mental rehabilitation, shelter, and even support for their dependants. It is the goal of MilitaryPlaques.Com to support Veterans and help them overcome their personal endeavors.
