Midwest RFID Symposium To Showcase The Revenue Potential Of Closed-Loop Applications

Symposium highlights the quick return on investment companies are finding with closed-loop RFID applications.

(1888PressRelease) July 18, 2007 - Business professionals will have the opportunity to learn about the implementation of RFID for asset management, security access control, industrial automation and other closed-loop applications at the 3rd Annual Midwest RFID Symposium, October 23 & 24, 2007 at the University of Kansas. They will hear how manufacturers, processors, transportation services, hospitals and offices are realizing a rapid return on investment using RFID.

This year the Midwest RFID Symposium, sponsored by Rush Tracking Systems and ITTC’s RFID Alliance Lab, has expanded to a two-day format, with case studies presented by speakers at the forefront of RFID deployment. Leading RFID technology companies and system integrators are scheduled to showcase their success stories. Presenters include representatives from Intelleflex, Fluensee, Intermec, Motorola RFID, HK Systems, RF Code and Alien Technologies.

General symposium sessions will feature presentations on choosing the right technology for your application and evaluating RFID’s impact on an organization. Breakout sessions will cover manufacturing topics, such as RFID for error-proofing and Six Sigma initiatives; asset-management applications, from tracking heavy equipment to IT assets; and other applications in healthcare, agriculture and office management.

In addition to the presentations, attendees will have an opportunity to see some of the latest RFID products and to meet with speakers in the exhibit hall. Exhibitors include Ekahau, QLM Consulting, Rush Tracking Systems, RFID Inc., SAVR Communications, System Concepts, and CompTIA.

Those who wish to learn even more about implementing RFID in their businesses can attend the post-symposium seminar, RFID for Intelligent Asset Management, an intensive two-day course on closed-loop applications for managing assets and controlling processes.
