This recognition is based on a recent survey conducted by J.D. Power & Associates – a California-based worldwide marketing information services firm involved in market research, customer satisfaction, performance improvement, training, and forecasting.
According to the results of the 2008 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study, Microtel Philippines, along with the entire chain of Microtel Inns & Suites, achieved the highest honor based on the responses of consumers who participated in the annual survey. The study covers six segments of the hotel industry, namely: economy/budget, luxury, upscale, mid-scale full service, mid-scale limited service, and extended stay. Overall satisfaction is determined per segment by J.D. Power & Associates’ key measures, which include hotel service, hotel facilities, guest room, check-in/check-out, food and beverage, costs and fees, as well as reservations.
