March 27, 2007 - In this small press release Alba Spectrum Group is announcing its special program for country-side Microsoft Great Plains customers. We are located in Aurora area on highway 88 and we easily cover DeKalb, Sycamore, Rockford, Dixon, Rock Falls, Rochelle, Sandwich, Somonauk, Plano, Mendota, Sugar Grove, Oswego, Morris, Marseilles, Ottawa, LaSalle. We would like also to provide some GP technology highlights:
ERP functionality and set of modules. Excellent financial core: GP, AR, AP, POP, SOP, IV is also supplemented by Manufacturing (discrete), Project Accounting, Field Service, Payroll & HR. Besides that, GP has pretty large collection of add-ons, coming from third party ISV: Avalara Sales Tax, Dynamics.ZIP, Mekorma, Wennsoft JobCost, Horizon light Manufacturing to name a few.
Business Portal. This module could provide you with such desirable extensions as web Order Management, Employee Selfservice and timecards, FRx. With Business Portal and its Sharepoint base you can customize intranet for your users and roles
Customizability. You should probably know customization and modification options. These are: Microsoft Dexterity (the shell for former Great Plains Software Dynamics, has sanscript scripting language and the environment to create new forms, tables and other resources in DYNAMICS.DIC). Extender, eConnect (this tools allows your Visual Studio developers to manipulate GP objects: Customer, Vendor, Employee, Sales Order, etc.)
Integration. Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration Manager allows you to map text files and ODBC compliant data connections to be imported to GP. eConnect is also integration tool, which should be built from scratch if you wish to take this route.
Version Upgrade. If you are on old version, which is no longer supported: Great Plains Dynamics 5.5, eEnterprise 6.0, 7.0 or Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics 7.5, you should consider version upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 or 10.0 (release is expected soon)
