Microsoft Dexterity. This tools is in fact original GP architecture and allows you to customize GP business logic virtually without limitations. However, this architecture was designed back in 1990th and as such in some aspects doesnt classify to modern object-oriented programming approach. We suggest to compliment Dex with such newer tools as eConnect, SQL Server Reporting Services, Extender.
eConnect. This tool enables object-oriented interface for GP master records: customer, vendor, employee, as well as gives you control over work objects: SOP Sales Order, POP Purchase Order, RM Invoice, PM Vendor Invoice, etc. eConnect needs additional tools to automate batch posting in GP, such as Alba Spectrum Posting Server
Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Portal. This tool is based on .Net web design and utilizes such technologies as Microsoft Sharepoint, eConnect for Order Management, MS Terminal Services Client to call GP forms from BP web interface. For Microsoft Dynamics gP 9.0 Business Portal 3.0 installation is not self evident process and consultant help is recommended.
