March 11, 2008 - Miami-Based Electronica Duo Evil Twin Tops the MySpace Music Charts
#1 in Techno for Florida; #2 in Industrial, and #6 in Electronica
Miami-Based electronic music duo, Evil Twin, announced today that the band is topping charts on one of the world's most popular social networking sites, MySpace (Fox Interactive Media/News Corporation).
Evil Twin is now Number One in Techno music within Florida, Number Two in Industrial Music, Number Six in Electronica, and has achieved the Number 67 rank nationally on MySpace Charts. The band attributes the recent spike in popularity to its MySpace page (www.myspace.com/systemaddix), which recently shot to the top of music rating charts.
Evil Twin says that their recent success is due to word-of-mouth through social networking sites, as well as excitement surrounding the pending release of their new CD/album “Realization (Music For The Terminally Insane).” The band has also just completed a movie soundtrack for a film currently in production in South Florida, which is causing a buzz in the Miami underground.
