July 01, 2008 - Metal Industrie of France, a kitchen manufacturer, designs the Delaubrac collection of ovens for both home and professional use. The company’s designs combine traditional French style with the latest technological innovations. The company, which is already well established internationally, is now seeking further distributors.
The Delaubrac collection offers reliability, quality and style. All of the models, which are named after French provinces such as Bordelais, Lyonnais, Champenois and Provençal, are made of antique-style enamelled sheet iron, with a cast-iron slow-cooking surface and either a gas or electric oven made of stainless steel. Some models also include a drying oven with thermostatic control providing temperatures ranging from 30°C to 110°C. Alternatively, a small electric oven can be included.
The ovens’ enamel surface is smooth and non-porous, and retains neither odours nor bacteria. It is resistant to corrosion caused by cleaning products, as well as being fireproof. It also offers perfect resistance to thermal shock.
Models are also available that include induction hobs, vitro-ceramic hobs, traditional gas rings and hotplates. The company continues to add further options, such as a rotating heat oven with manual humidifier, which guarantee controlled cooking and easy upkeep. Models can be customised further by including a deep-fat fryer, or an induction, teppan yaki or chargrill cooking surface, or by adding a rotisserie, oven viewing door, drawer or an enamelled plinth to the lower section. Additional accessories, such as wok rings, chopping boards, splashbacks and hoods, can also be included.
The standard colour pallet features 13 tones, including jade green, orange, aubergine, chocolate and platinum grey. Other colours are also available upon request. The oven can be finished with either chrome, brass or copper (matt or polished), or with a blend of two finishes.
The ovens can also be further customised with images; the company uses aerography or photocomposition to decorate the model with portraits, landscapes, images of animals, or abstract or geometric figures.
