Leading DSM provider set to participate in Pan-European technology project.

(1888PressRelease) October 31, 2007 - MetaCase (www.metacase.com), provider of the leading Domain-Specific Modeling (DSM) environment, MetaEdit+®, today announced that it has been selected to participate in the ITEA MoSiS project on Model-Driven Development (MDD) in the embedded industry.

Founded by industry heavyweights Telvent, Nokia Siemens Networks, Phillips and Telefonica, the approximate $30 million USD (20 million EUR) MoSiS project aims strengthen the position of MDD as a key enabling technology for the successful design, development, and management of embedded software systems. Launched earlier this year, the project is scheduled to continue for three years, concluding in June of 2010.

MetaCase has been selected to play a significant role in the high-profile project due to its position as a technological leader and established performance record in the industry. The company has been tasked with implementing support for the modeling languages and code generators, allowing for the automatic production of products from design models.
