Men In Handbags Desugned By Alexandra Manna Gibbs

since Fashion Moda was created, Alexandra’s work has received much interest from local fashion designers, newspapers and publications, the BBC and commercial radio stations across the country.

(1888PressRelease) July 10, 2006 - Bristol fashion designer, Alexandra Manna-Gibbs, is no stranger to the media spotlight.

In 2002, the young fashionista, created her own on-line fashion boutique, which she named, www.fashionmoda.co.uk.

The website is used to publicize Alexandra’s work, whilst also raising awareness and interest in Italian fashion and design. In fact, since Fashion Moda was created, Alexandra’s work has received much interest from local fashion designers, newspapers and publications, the BBC and commercial radio stations across the country. She also presents a fashion program for a community radio station based in Bristol, and has recently produced her own pop record, with the help of musician and songwriter, Mike Snowdon. The recording is named, Keep Your Fingers on the Pulse, and has recently received interest from the Internet and satellite radio station, Pulse Rated.

Now in her final year at University, Alexandra has been chosen to represent the University of the West of England, during Graduate Fashion Week. This years event will consist of over forty of the ‘top’ designers from Universities around the country, giving them the opportunity to display their work during four days at Battersea Park Arena, from Sunday, June 4th to Wednesday, June 7th, 2006.

As part of the Graduate London fashion week, Alexandra has decided to launch her latest design. This is a collection of travel bags, which are aimed at ‘males’ and consist of six items that are made of a strong cotton canvas and bridle leather.

According to their designer, this particular collection evokes the English countryside, with its use of colouring that includes brown papaya to a leaf green. All six bags are made to last, since they are durable and use such materials as cotton canvas, bridle leather and solid brass fittings (*as seen in picture above with male model).

In order to view or purchase these items, please visit London fashion week, during the dates which are outlined above. For further information on Alexandra and her work, visit her on-line boutique, which can be found at www.fashionmoda.co.uk, among various other items, which are both sold and displayed.
