November 20, 2007 - Memphis, TN. - World-reknown female opera soprano, Ms. Kallen Esperian, who will be performing several private intimate Christmas engagements in Memphis, Tennessee for the 2007 Christmas season, has selected Memphis Sound Entertainment to light, produce, and record those events.
"Anytime an artist of Kallen's caliber calls and asks for production services...well, it's a good thing," nods Woody Degan, Production Director of Memphis Sound Entertainment, who is widely recognized as one of the top entertainment consultants and producers in the Mid-South region. "Kallen has such a wonderful voice, and she is such a delightful person...always a pleasure to work on any event. She graciously lends her talent to us annually at the Memphis Redbirds, by singing the national anthem at the season opener, so this is a good way for us to give back, not to mention that we make it easy for her since we have all music production and lighting services in-house. We do it ourselves. It's one call," continues Degan. "That's a key point. Our quality is consistent because we're not dependent upon who is available on any given day, like some of the other local agencies. We're truly an entertainment resource...not an entertainment re-seller."
Kallen will be performing a full range of Christmas Holiday favorites, with piano accompaniment. The events will also be recorded by Memphis Sound Entertainment for later remix at their own studios. Pending Kallen's approval, they may become available for resale. Degan will provide the lighting, audio and recording gear, as well as the back-drops and decor for the event. "It's all about the presentation for us...Kallen's got the rest covered!"
