About Mere Music
MMI was founded in 1996 (as Meer Music Ltd ) by songwriter/producer Paul Sedkowski (Barcelona Olympics promos, Kimera, Prince Scandal) with partners John Coletta (manager of Deep Purple, Whitesnake), Derek Lawrence (producer Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash), businessman Peter van der Meer, and collaborators, hit songwriter/producers Rob Davis and Andy Tumi. In 2001, Paul teamed up with singer/songwriter Laura Krier and TV director Mary-Jane Trokel (Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight) and renamed the company to Mere Music International. When MMI released Laura Krier's “Nothing But Trouble” album in 2006 the need for airplay became evident, inspiring the development of Fame Games and the founders’ wish to help Independent artists get regular rotational airplay. |
