January 14, 2009 - Jeffrey E. Epstein, MD, Medical Director of Cherry Hill Laser & Skin Care Center has just returned from Advanced Laser Training at the ASLMS Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. The meeting and training sessions were attended by well over 2000 physicians and providers. Talks included treating "patients of color", vascular treatments (spider veins), periorbital rejuvenation (dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles), fractional resurfacing (Fraxel, ActiveFx) and facial rejuvenation (Photodynamic Therapy).
"It was the best experience I have had in years. The training was excellent and the top physicians in the field were there showing their latest techniques. I especially enjoyed to lectures about "patients of color". It takes a great deal of knowledge and skill to treat African-Americans, Asians, Indians, Latin Americans and people of Mediterranean origins".
The field of cosmetic dermatology is evolving so rapidly that it is essential that providers go to these types of meetings to learn the latest techniques and the best technologies.
