November 14, 2008 - Marx Layne & Company—a full-service marketing and public relations agency—today announced that Jennifer L. Cherry has been promoted to the position of Account Supervisor. In this role, Cherry will be responsible for overseeing multiple account teams in addition to providing media relations, social media and communications strategies for clients in the retail, real estate and professional services industries.
Most recently, Cherry served as senior account executive at the agency, where her responsibilities included the development and implementation of strategic public relations campaigns for publicly and privately held companies as well as nonprofit organizations. She joined Marx Layne & Company in 2003 as an intern.
Cherry is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn. There she earned bachelor’s degrees in Microbiology and Communications and is currently pursing a masters in communication at Wayne State University. She also sits on the boards of the University of Michigan-Dearborn CASL Alumni Affiliate, Destination Imagination and the Neanderthal Acting Company. Cherry currently resides with in Southfield, Mich.
