June 23, 2009 - Georgia - On September 13th packaging executives from leading food and beverage organizations will meet at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort to discuss the industry’s challenges. Chaired by Ruth Karina Espinel, Director, Packaging Innovation – Global Packaging Research & Development, Coca-Cola Company, the event will feature speaker presentations, panel discussions, networking activities as well as one-on-one meetings with solution providers.
Keynote presenter Jonathan Denham, Vice President, Design & Innovation, Kraft Foods will take a look at incorporating social trends into the design and packaging process and using the retail environment to drive packaging innovation. He will also discuss the importance of matching packaging design to changing trends.
Wal-Mart International’s Senior Director of Packaging Sustainability Sean Stephens will share his views on how you can move beyond sustainable packaging to a culture of sustainability. His keynote session will provide ideas on how you can position and differentiate your company from others by having eco-friendly values as a key marketing strategy.
The Food & Beverage Packaging and Innovation Summit was designed to give senior packaging executives the opportunity to gain insights and take away best practices on issues such as sustainable and green packaging, food safety, overcoming language barriers, collaborating with other packaging markets and surviving the downturn.
