May 03, 2008 - The 2008 Envoy comes in a choice of two trims: a 4.2 liter, I-6 which has 285 hp of power, and a 5.3-liter V8 which gives out 300 horsepower. The V8 model carries a fuel-saving cylinder deactivation feature. The stability system is standard, as are side curtain airbags.
The 2008 GMC Envoy rides on standard aluminum 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the total wheelbase stands at 113 inches.
For the interiors, the 2008 GMC Envoy has a split, folding rear seat, reclining front bucket seats, a navigation system, Bose audio, and a DVD-based entertainment system.
Among the standard safety features are electronic stability control, all-disc antilock brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, and side curtain airbags.
