December 12, 2008 - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - This unique contest honours the creative talents behind the development and design of UAE websites and took place during an official dinner ceremony held on the evening of November 29th at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, UAE. mamemo productions won the Silver Award in the sports category for the Beach Polo Cup Dubai-website (www.beachpolo.net). The jury members awarded the website because of its content design as a one stop source of information for players and followers of these yearly tournaments. The design is streamlined in such a way that a user can view all the information in one easy graphical user interface. The website contains a treasure trove of multimedia materials, from video clips to a user-controlled soundtrack. mamemo productions created a website to reflect the high status of its innovation as well as the royal history of the sport.

The best website receive the Diamond Award, the highest honorary award in the competition. Each contest category will include three winners, with the champion receiving a golden cup and the second and third placers accepting silver and bronze cups, respectively. The triumphant contenders will represent the UAE in the broader Pan Arab Web Awards competition, held on 25th April 2009.
