December 11, 2011 - Lunabrite, a division of Spruce Marketing, was recently asked to create a sustainable wristband for the Opportunity Green Expo held in Los Angeles on November 11 and 12. The band, made from the Lunabrite ribbon product, provided access to Expo participants throughout the day and was featured in the after-hours event. Opportunity Green is an exposition that brings together Fortune 500 companies, top echelon entrepreneurs, policy and media makers who share insights and best practices.
According to company president Barb Sommer, "I continue to be pleased that the number of applications for Lunabrite. It's appeal across industries, including the exposition industry, is another demonstration of a broad range and appeal that continue to evolve. The request to create the wristband for the Opportunity Green Expo was another demonstration of how our product is changing ways in which business is conducted, even the exposition industry."
Lunabrite continues to lead the way in providing innovative ways to illuminate a variety of products. The ribbon product, which was introduced in March of this year, is flat, extremely flexible, and can be applied to a multitude of design applications ranging from apparel design to outdoor products. The polymer material is ultra thin with the highest glow effect. It is an extremely light stable and long lasting formula with no loss of illumination over many years. Lunabrite Ribbon offers the highest impact glow for specialized night-glow effects, and is engineered to provide an illuminating glow from dusk until dawn making it ideal for night safety applications.
The Ribbon can be either be die cut or trimmed to present a sophisticated design look. Although the material is micro thin, it is a very durable and tear resistant polymer that may withstand tough usage. It can be stitched or sewn into fabrics and is machine washable through many wash cycles making it ideal for active sportswear.
Lunabrite Ribbon is available in three standard colors: Limelight, Arctic Blue, Spring Green and the newest color Midnight Blue. Sommer states, "A vibrant palette of custom colors is also available that will enhance creativity with design projects. Our experienced color experts are also available to assist designers with color and material selection for their projects."
