September 23, 2009 - Whitland, Wales, UK - Magstim is pleased to announce the introduction of the Neurosign 1000 intra-operative nerve monitor, which will be shown at the American Academy of Otolaryngology annual meeting from 4th-7th October 2009.
The Neurosign 1000 incorporates a large, easy to use touch-screen monitor which clearly displays patient waveforms and data, whilst allowing simultaneous access to other functions without the distraction of dials, buttons and menus. In addition, the system is easy to clean and disinfect after use.
Built upon a Windows XP® embedded PC platform, an integral computer provides fast, effective patient reporting, supports the creation of dedicated protocols to minimize set-up time and has network capabilities which allows for online technical support and software upgrades. Available in 2 or 4 channel configurations, the Neurosign 1000 is suitable for thyroid and parathyroid surgery, parotidectomy, mastoidectomy, cochlear implant and skull-base surgery.
The Neurosign 1000 will be on display on booth 350 at the AAO annual meeting and expo, where our Neurosign team will be available to discuss the advantages of precision nerve monitoring and stimulation.
