November 22, 2007 - M33 Integrated Solutions was honored as one of the Palmetto state’s top-performing companies during the presentation of the 'South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companiess' 2007 program’s Top 25 winners. The winners were announced during the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Summit luncheon event held at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on November 15. The 'South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companiess' program, co-sponsored by Elliott Davis, LLC and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, recognizes an exceptional and diverse assembly of businesses from across the state.
Accepting the award on behalf of M33 were Sammy and Scott Riddle, brothers and founders of the company. Following the ceremony, Sammy Riddle remarked, "I feel deeply honored and humbled by this recognition. When Scott and I started the company nearly nine years ago, we leaned on our family and faith to progress forward. Over the years, our company has evolved and developed unique solutions through our valued customers’ needs and suggestions. We’ve watched excitedly as our workload, staff and client list grew by leaps and bounds. And although we’ve known for quite a while that we have a pretty unique business model, it’s nice for a respected third-party like the Chamber of Commerce to notice as well. I look around the room at the other companies that are sharing this award, and I know how well-respected they are within the state. I hope we can not only maintain our present level of success with comparable integrity, but earn even more success in the years to come. "
'South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companiess' 2007 competition, co-sponsored by Elliott Davis and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, recognizes 25 companies statewide for exceptional performance in both revenue and employment growth. This year’s 25 top performers cover a broad spectrum in terms of size, industry sector and geographic locations.
According to S. Hunter Howard Jr., president and chief executive office of program co-sponsor South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, “I am proud to be a part of a program that celebrates such an outstanding group of entrepreneurs and business owners. It is so important to the growth of our state that we continue to have companies that persevere through all kinds of economic weather and who continue to rise to the top. The continued growth of these middle market companies is vital to the continued prosperity and success of South Carolina.”
The 2007 annual list ranking clearly demonstrates the renewed prosperity being felt throughout the state and around the country. “I’m thrilled to see that this year’s honorees come from all sectors of the business spectrum and that they have enjoyed such unparalleled prosperity,” said Todd Mitchell, chairman at Elliott Davis. “It says great things about our economy and our state that we are continuing to grow and succeed at such a remarkable rate.”
Submissions were compiled, evaluated, and ranked by a review panel from Elliott Davis. Recognizing exceptional growth and performance is the basis of the South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companiessm 2007, whose inaugural ranking was released in the fall of 2002. The 2007 rankings were determined using a weighted equation tied to percentage of increase both gross revenues (or assets), and full-time employment.
