Lucy Corr Village Welcomes New Health Administrator
Derrick Kendall brings a wealth of experience to his new role with the Chesterfield-based community.
- Richmond-Petersburg, VA (1888PressRelease) April 15, 2014 - Lucy Corr Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Chesterfield County, is pleased to announce Derrick Kendall as the organization's new Health Center Administrator and Chief Operating Officer. Kendall began his career in healthcare as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the early 1990s and has remained in the field since.

Prior to accepting his new role at Lucy Corr, Derrick Kendall spent 15 years working for American Health Care, four of which he spent as the Vice President of Operations. Most recently, Kendall was named to the Virginia Board of Long-Term Care Administrators and was awarded the prestigious Administrator of the Year in 2013 by the Virginia Health Care Association (VHCA).
Kendall is active in the Chesterfield community; he coaches baseball for Chesterfield Baseball Clubs and is a basketball referee on weekends. Derrick and his wife have two sons and a 16-year-old beagle named Chase.
