Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease)
October 30, 2007 - Looking down, as in an aerial photography view, can help real estate agents distinguish their listings from the crowd. Geocentric Productions, Inc., a digital imaging company providing service to the real estate industry in the Philadelphia area, has recently introduced BlimpShots. This new low altitude aerial photography service uses their 13 foot helium filled blimp and wireless remote controlled digital camera to capture unique images of homes for sale.
Traditional aerial photographs taken from an airplane or helicopter generally show mostly roofs because the FAA rules limit aircraft to flying at altitudes no lower than 1000 ft. BlimpShots are taken at altitudes up to 500 feet which allows for a much better view, showing the front of the home as well as the surrounding areas.
Another new tool offered by Geocentric is the ability to create floor plans for resale properties that are similar to the plans offered by new home builders. Buyers love floor plans because they help in planning and decorating their new home. Agents like floor plans also because it helps buyers remember the home that they just toured. Floor plans also help orient photographs with the layout of the home.
More information on BlimpShots, floor plans as well as virtual tour photography can be found at Geocentric Productions’ websites, www.360by360.com or www.blimpshots.com or by calling the office at 1-888-360-8881.
