Local Tech Event At The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

Tech and Life Science companies and their families are invited to a one-of-a-kind family networking event on Saturday, May 30, 2009, 6-9 p.m., at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.


(1888PressRelease) May 05, 2009 - The event will be a tour de force of local Ann Arbor companies with live music, activities for children and refreshments. Several technology companies and organizations will highlight their products and resources for attendees.

“This is a great opportunity for area tech teams and their families to socialize and share ideas in a fun, casual environment. It’s really a unique opportunity to bring scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs together with their families and at the same time experience the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.” says Michael Cole, Organizer and Group President, Technology Industry Group at Bank of Ann Arbor.

Mel Drumm, the Museum’s Executive Director adds, “The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum welcomes our Ann Arbor area tech companies and their families to the Museum to celebrate innovation and technology in our imaginative and hands-on environment. Our goal is to inspire children to embrace science and technology careers through interaction with innovative technologies in and around the Ann Arbor region.”

Sponsorships are available ranging from $1,000 to $250. Each sponsorship includes tickets to the event and the opportunity to highlight their technology. Individual tickets are $25 each for adults, $10 each for children with special family packages at $50. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased online at www.aahom.org.
