San Jose, CA (1888PressRelease)
October 30, 2009 - WNA was founded in 2007 and has recently announced its national program. Founder Debbie Quintana has chosen twelve new chapter presidents, including Nadine Watson of San Jose, California. “Nadine represents WNA in the purest form – a woman starting her business and looking to give back at the same time. Her ethics, attitude and willingness to truly create a foundation of growth are highly commendable qualities and I’m grateful to have her on our team,” said Quintana. Nadine is one of twelve new chapter presidents Quintana is putting on throughout the United States including New York, Mississippi, Indiana and Ohio. “Adding another chapter to the bay area is simply the right thing to do, there are many small business owners that can benefit from WNA and we can benefit from them, too.”
When asked about her motivation to start her chapter of WNA, Nadine responded with a huge smile, “I am motivated to start my own networking organization in order to formalize my support for others. I agree with the mission of helping women businesses thrive. Being a resource and supporting others is something I already do. Having the backing of WNA helps me put a wrapper around the work I do and gives me a solid base from which to continue my efforts.” Watson is a recent graduate from Golden Gate University with a Masters in Business Administration, with honors and is starting her own business, “A Place to Unwind”.
This chapter of The Women's Networking Alliance is forming now with women who are owners of small businesses in the San Jose area. The chapter will meet on a regular basis to help one another generate business and grow themselves professionally through a variety of activities. WNA is also about community involvement and will be challenged with contributing in some form to our local community. Watson has clearly spelled out the type of woman business owner she’s looking to join her chapter, “I am looking for dynamic women who are willing to grab hold of the vision of enabling, empowering, and supporting growth amongst one another. I am looking for women who can help take WNA to the next level!”
