November 05, 2009 - Herocare San Diego is partnering with Costco to honor the heroes of San Diego by hosting a special shopping event, Saturday, November 7th from 6-8pm to thank them and recognize them for their contribution to our community. This special event will feature pictures with Santa, refreshments and special food samplings, and many stores will feature fire trucks, police cars and entertainment from local organizations to add to the festivities. Herocare will be offering an opportunity drawing at select locations.
Participating Costco stores will be open extended hours on this Saturday night to honor all employees of those working in the educational systems, medical industry, military, fire departments, police departments, CHP, hospital systems, Sheriff Department, non-profit organizations, city, state or government agencies. Veterans and retired employees from these sectors are also welcome!
