“Market research shows that 64% of consumers want to know the price they are paying for a car or truck before visiting the dealership. We looked at this and listened to our customers and found a way to satisfy their desire”, said Tim Sandefur, E-Commerce Manager at Zeigler
The process is very simple, customers visit the dealer website, choose a vehicle and have two options to lock-in a published ‘buy now price’ or e-negotiate. The negotiation is literally offer - counter offer until a mutually agreeable price is reached. Customers then have 48 hours to complete the transaction.
Tim Sandefur from Zeigler further explains “After locking in the price, our customer’s are left to just come in and test-drive the vehicle within 48 hours and go through our easy financing options or bring us their financing, the price negotiation is already done” “It literally cuts and hour or more out of the process”
