March 29, 2007 - Deborah Rucks, general manager of The Copy Center, a local valley business which has committed their company to sponsor the printing needs of the new nonprofit organization Las Vegas Teen Crisis, said Monday, “I believe in this organization because they take a stand for the youth of Las Vegas Valley!”
Rucks, who has lived in the valley for 3 years, came from Tulsa, OK where for years she worked as a Juvenile Delinquent Counselor for the state of Oklahoma. “My desire has always been to work for the youth of our community. When I was introduced to the Las Vegas Teen Crisis organization I totally aligned with their purpose.” says Rucks, “By supporting their printing needs, it is our way of giving back to the community!”
Las Vegas Teen Crisis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing to the valley a series of programs designed to teach families and individuals the tools for creating lasting change based on accountability, integrity, healthy choices and trust. “There will be trainings for adults as well as the teens. This is not just for families in crisis. This is for everyone.” says organization president, Lynn Denton.
