Local Advisor Receives Mdrt Foundation Quality Of Life Grant Honoring Community Service
Katherine A. Kline, ChFC, of San Marcos, California, was awarded a USD 2,500 Quality of Life Grant by the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation for outstanding community service on behalf of North County Health Services. Kline is an 18-year MDRT member.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) May 16, 2012 - North County Health Services, based in San Marcos, California, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare that is comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive. Kline is a charter member of the Advisory Board and played a key role in establishing the Fund Development Advisory Board This grant will help fund the primary and preventive care for uninsured and low income patients with diabetes or hypertension.
Established in 1990, the MDRT Foundation's Quality of Life program recognizes MDRT members for their community involvement. This year, 25 recipients were selected for the award and the MDRT Foundation donated $107,500 to charities in the name of 25 MDRT member volunteers. Representing the MDRT Foundation, Kline presented this grant to North County Health Services on May 2nd at the Building a Healthier Carlsbad reception at the home of Michael and Marilyn Tollack.

Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $27 million in more than 67 countries throughout the world and in all 50 U.S. states. The majority of these funds were raised by MDRT members from MDRT members.
