(1888PressRelease) October 25, 2007 - SYDNEY, – With over 20 years experience in manufacturing cameras and a top three global market share position, Samsung Electronics introduces the new i Series range of digital still cameras. The i Series is the first of four new ranges for Samsung since taking the distribution of digital still cameras in house last month. It represents the next step in digital technology convergence,” said Stephen Jacobs, Senior Product Manager – Digital Still Camera, Samsung Electronics Australia. “The i Series is the perfect alternative for fashion conscious and tech-savvy consumers who are looking for a camera that does more than take photos and is a positive step for consumers looking for greater choice. Travellers will particularly like the camera’s World Tour Guide capability. Gone are the days of carrying around a travel book. Travellers can now have global travel information in the palm of their hand.”

In-camera editing – Both models also feature advanced in-camera editing, which allow users to change the light balance, focus or even add speech bubbles to photos.
