Live 199QUERY Questions And Answers Now Being Displayed Live In Australian Pubs And Clubs

199QUERY, an SMS question answer service where any question is answered by a team of researchers now displays questions, Live, on plasma screens in pubs across the country.

(1888PressRelease) February 20, 2008 - CANBERRA - From 20 foot screens on the gold coast to the local club down the road, 199QUERY has developed devices that allow live SMS messages sent to its service to be displayed on any TV screen.

The technology, developed by 199QUERY (http://199query.com) enables live questions and their answers to be displayed over the top of normal programming within a few minutes of being received by the customer.

199QUERY is a bespoke answer service where questions texted to 199QUERY are answered by a team of researchers within a few minutes. These questions, often quite strange are then displayed across all plasmas in a club with their humorous yet accurate answers.

The second installation at Cube Nightclub in Canberra represents 199QUERY's commitment to pushing the boundaries of club - patron interaction and is the first of its kind in Australia. "With this service a club can display a custom message on the screen and have patrons respond to it instantly." Says 199QUERY founder Sebastien Maslin. "From competitions to win free drinks to the thrill of seeing their name displayed across all the screens in a club this is a unique and exciting venture between 199QUERY and Cube - the first in Australia."

Already 199QUERY has seen a huge number of patrons use the service, eager to see their questions appear on the screen. "Its a bit of good fun" says Cube PR/Marketing and Events Manager Candice Easter "people send in their name, 199QUERY sends back some info on them and then we put it up on the screen for everyone to see".

With orders for 20 more units, 199QUERY will be rolling out the service across bars and clubs around Australia and New Zealand.

Examples of questions shown on the screens at Cube so far have included:
