February 04, 2009 - Ms. Kravitz will serve as program chair and Mr. Krooks will address the NYSBA at their annual meeting in January.
Mr. Krooks will present a program entitled "Elder Law Update" to the members of the NYSBA. The program will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 27 and will be followed by a reception for those attending. Other topics to be presented during this session include special needs trusts, ethics and practice management.
Littman Krooks Partner, Ellyn S. Kravitz is chairing the session, which is to be held at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.
The NYSBA annual meeting will take place from Monday January 26 through Saturday January 31 and will feature over 40 educational programs for New York Mandatory Continuing Legal Education. The event will also feature a career development conference, and a session addressing the needs of newly practicing attorneys.
More than 5,000 members of the New York State Bar Association are expected to attend the meeting.

Mr. Krooks is past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the NYSBA, Chair of its Legal Education Committee, and past Editor-in-Chief of the Elder Law Attorney, the newsletter of the NYSBA Elder Law Section.
