August 14, 2008 - Lip Smakin Smokers has recently announced the newest addition to its product line. Danny Boy’s BBQ sauce has been added to Lip Smakin Smokers already diverse BBQ sauce offering, becoming the first New Jersey made BBQ sauce offered by Lip Smakin Smokers, whose sauce line includes barbecue sauces, marinades, and rubs from across the United States.
Lip Smakin Smokers of Elizabeth, NJ and Danny Boy’s Stuff of Fanwood, NJ saw the perfect fit when they partnered together earlier this year to bring a true New Jersey made BBQ sauce to the market. “We carry BBQ sauces and marinades from all across the country including Texas, Memphis, and the Carolinas but nothing from our home state of New Jersey. So when we heard of a great tasting sauce made right here in (New) Jersey we knew we had something special,” says Rob Milo, owner of Lip Smakin Smokers. Lip Smakin Smokers is the exclusive distributor of Danny Boy’s BBQ sauce.
Danny Boy’s BBQ sauce is the creation of Daniel Strachman, a financial planner by day and a BBQ enthusiast by night. After trying a variety of sauces from across the country, Dan could not find that one sauce to suit his pallet. Following many late nights of cooking batches in his kitchen, Dan finally put together the right combination of ingredients to satisfy his taste. He was left with a thick tomato based sauce with a tangy kick to it making it great on many different types of foods. Dan is currently working on producing a sweet BBQ sauce as well as a hot BBQ sauce to round out Danny Boy’s line of sauces.
