June 16, 2007 - Lifting Solutions is making sure its existing and prospective customers are fully compliant with new EU regulations relating to explosive atmospheres, and can avoid falling foul of the law. Installations running in explosive atmospheres must now comply with European Directive 99/92/EC. All hoisting equipment on production sites will have to be ATEX-certified, or covered by a risk analysis, and the equipment concerned be brought into compliance.*
