July 18, 2009 - Brand Licensing organized an amazing workshop on Brand Licensing and Merchandising discussing on the fundamentals of Licensing, licensing opportunities for apparel brands and manufacturers, provided an opportunity to interact with the licensing experts and to network with Indian apparel brand owners and manufactures who have expanded their business by licensing.

Indian Franchise Association in conjunction with the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) had conducted India’s first exclusive workshop on Fashion Franchising on the second day of 50th National Garment Fair at Mumbai, with the aim to provide insights into the Fashion industry and to educate Retail franchisers and Fashion brand owners.
Fashion franchising workshop had a discussion on the concepts of Building a Fashion Brand through franchise route to have a successful retail network. The workshop concluded with a CEO Roundtable with top industry experts from the Indian Fashion Franchise fraternity they had discussed and shared the best practices in Fashion franchising to face the challenges ahead.
Some of the prominent speakers addressed the conference were Mr. Pradeep Hirani, Chairman, Kimaya Studios, Mr. Thortsen Allenstein, MD, Triumph International, Mr. Santosh Srivastava, President Sales and Business Development, Gitanjali group.
