May 02, 2009 - WHAT: The Beehive and Cow Island Music present the CD Release Party for New York City's Li'l Mo and the Monicats on Thursday May 7th, 2009 at 8:00PM! Monica "Li'l Mo” Passin and guitarist Skip Krevens will play selections from their Cow Island debut "ON THE MOON." ON THE MOON covers a wide range of American Roots Music and includes nine original songs written by Monica (a.k.a Li’l Mo).
Helping out will be Boston's own Stumbleweeds led by the sweet voices of “Lynnette” and “Lisa” and DJ Easy Ed will be spinning records all night long starting at 7:00 pm.
WZBC's Sunday Morning Country hostess, Cousin Kate Walker, will MC the proceedings.
Make a night of it by having dinner at The Beehive with such delicious menu items as: COUNTRY ROASTED ½ CHICKEN, MASHED POTATOES, LEMON & GARLIC GRAVY ($22), GRILLED STRIPED BASS, CRISPY YUKON GOLD POTATOES, PARSLEY VINAIGRETTE ($23) or LAMB STEAK, SPINACH FALAFEL, MARINATED EGGPLANT and TOMATO HOT SAUCE ($24).
