November 05, 2009 - NEW YORK - Gutenberg Communications, a global, strategic communications firm offering public and investor relations services, today announced that Director Lavanya DJ has been named to the “15-to-Watch” list by PR News under the agency category. The annual award recognizes talented public relations professionals below the age of 30 who demonstrate leadership, creativity and strong potential to become industry leaders.
The first official employee of Gutenberg Communications, Lavanya has helped drive the company’s phenomenal growth over the last five years. Now a director of client services, she has successfully created and managed several global public relations campaigns for a diverse portfolio of companies; this includes leading IT services multinationals with $5 billion in revenue, entrepreneurial health care product organizations and renowned academic institutions.
In addition to her achievements in client servicing, Lavanya has shaped internal and new business processes, as well as training and development best practices. She launched the firm’s London office in 2007 and helped staff its locations in Bangalore and Mumbai.
