The
C.A.R.L.A. Concept™ will be the topic of choice at the January 17, 2007 meeting of the Pikes Peak Association of Legal Support Staff. Laura Benjamin, international speaker and author of “The C.A.R.L.A. Concept—How to Raise an Issue, Prove Your Point, & Communicate With Clarity™” will teach attorneys, legal assistants/paralegals and legal secretaries how to use The C.A.R.L.A. Concept to achieve better results.
The meeting will be held at Giuseppe’s Old Depot Restaurant at 5:45 p.m. in the Caboose. Please call Karen Lutterschmidt at 386-3000 to make your reservation. The cost is $12 for PPALSS members and $15 for non-members, including dinner.
In lieu of a speaker’s honorarium, Ms. Benjamin will be accepting donations for The Welcome Home GWOT Heroes Fund that supports welcome home ceremonies for soldiers and families, unit activities and events not supportable by other means. It also enables local citizens to welcome home Colorado-based troops as they return from combat-related deployments.
