Las Vegas, NV-AZ (1888PressRelease) March 29, 2007 - Today community leaders joined together at a luncheon hosted by Las Vegas Teen Crisis, a private, nonprofit community service organization passionate about presenting effective prevention awareness and teen intervention with the result “Building Families with Aligned Purpose and Values”.
In attendance today were leaders from Nevada Homeless Youth Organization, The Social Register of Las Vegas, The Sun and Horizon Academy, just to name a few. Everyone was joined together in searching for a solution to the overwhelming influences that haunt our valley’s youth.
“Rebuilding Las Vegas One Family at a Time” was the theme of today’s gathering. The group shared facts and information regarding the onslaught of issues faced by valley teens. Las Vegas Teen Crisis provides program services for the community at large that are suffering from the affects/effects of all forms of substance abuse, depression, divorce/family issues, school problems/poor peer choices, and bullying, just to name a few.
