About the 2009 Toyota Venza
The 2009 Toyota Venza is a crossover that aims to blend the space and utility of an SUV with the comfort and smoothness of a sedan. It is has the style of a large hatchback, into which entry and exit are easy.
Engine
The 2009 Toyota Venza is fitted with a standard 2.7-liter, four-cylinder engine that has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. While this model is high on power and size, it is low on fuel consumption and emissions. The 2009 Toyota Venza is also available in an optional 3.5-liter, V6 that has an output of 268 horsepower.
Both engines come with a six-speed sequential-shift electronically-controlled automatic transmission. This model is available with both front and all-wheel-drive configurations.
Interiors
The 2009 Toyota Venza’s interior has a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, a multi-information display, auto dual zone air conditioning, a center console that has an iPod/MP3 storage compartment with wire management, illuminated dual cup-holders, optitron gauges, remote keyless entry, electrochromic rearview mirror with compass, AM/FM six-disc CD, cruise control, rear wiper, privacy glass and cruise control among other features.
Exteriors
The 2009 Toyota Venza’s exteriors consist of wraparound tail lights that interconnect with the hatch door, a distinctive grille and fog lamps, an angled rear hatch and rear spoiler, standard 20-inch alloy wheels for the V6, and 19-inch alloy wheels for four-cylinder models.
Safety
STAR safety system, a package which consists of anti-lock brakes, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assistance, and vehicle stability control, seven airbags inclusive of a driver’s knee airbag, active head rests, side curtain airbags for both rows of seats, and front seat-mounted side airbags are some of the safety features the 2009 Toyota Venza comes with.
