June 13, 2009 - Labthink Introduces new permeation testing instrument, PERME W3/060 Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test System.
It is applicable in tests of water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) through plastic film, complex film, sheeting materials, and other materials used in pharmaceutical and construction fields. By testing the materials’ WVTR, the material’s techinical index can be controlled and adjusted, to satisfy the different requirements of application.
It complies with international standards as follows: ASTM E96, ASTM D1653, TAPPI T464, ISO 2528, DIN 53122-1, JIS Z0208, YBB 00092003, GB 1037 and GB/T 16928.
Characteristics:
Gravimetric principle, ( international traceable and arbitration method);
Computer controls, automatic tests;
Include master bases and satellite modules. One master base can support 9 satellite modules at max, 60 samples can be tested independently simultaneously;
Each unit can perform tests for 6 samples at random combination and putout independent results;
The satellite modules have same testing function of master base;
Built-in temperature controller can cool down and heat up the tester;
Humidity generator is equipped;
Professional softeare, intelligent function, data is displayed by graph in real time;
Test report can be stored in txt, data base, and Excel format;
Support data sharing and management through area net work and internet;
Broad power range, meets worldwide power requirements;
Can be calibrated using standard weight and reference film.
