  • (1888PressRelease) March 17, 2016 - "What I liked best about L. Ron Hubbard was his exciting approach to life. He was always in a flair of moving ahead into new areas and new experiences. He didn't believe in being an ordinary person. He was extraordinary, and he made you feel the same way. And that is what I learned from him," stated Mr. Ray Heimberger a fellow George Washington University peer, whose interview is one of the highlighted videos.

The Information Center has a permanent exhibit which contains panels and interactive audio/visual displays covering a biographical introduction and vignettes, leaders and officials speaking about L. Ron Hubbard's legacy as a humanitarian and author and interviews with those who knew Mr. Hubbard.

"Most visitors are fascinated with how much Mr. Hubbard accomplished in one lifetime. No matter anyone's interests, there's probably something Mr. Hubbard did that will peak your curiosity. Honestly, you'd probably want to make a couple of visits to see it all", stated Amber Skjelset, the Manager for the Scientology Information Center.

There are three additional displays which cover the beliefs and practices of Scientology, interviews of Scientologists from all over the world, and the Church-sponsored global humanitarian programs which address illiteracy, drug-prevention education, human rights education, and criminal reform.

Since it's opening in July 2015, the Information Center has hosted and toured some 7,000 visitors from over 20 countries.

The center is open daily from 10am to 10pm. Parking is available at the Garden Avenue Parking Garage (28 N. Garden Ave). There is no cost to attend. All are welcome. For more information or to arrange group visits contact Amber Skjelset at (727) 467-6966 or amber ( @ ) cos dot flag dot org dot
