February 12, 2009 - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey – Kupid Love is the official mascot of JustWeddings.com. Kupid’s first “birthday,” designated by the site, will be observed this Valentine’s Day. Kupid Love’s personality is featured through JustWeddings.com’s articles and devoted pages on Facebook.
Kupid Love is a materialization of AllisonWisnefski’s (president of JustWeddings.com) creativity. “I wanted to create an ‘ego’ that was fun and cute,” explains Allison. “JustWeddings.com is built upon the existence of love; and the traditional Cupid, is a recognized symbol of love. We just put a new spin on the old, archetypal symbol.”
Kupid Love’s personality is amplified through JustWedding.com’s use of Facebook, the popular, social-networking site. “Facebook enables a business to have a dedicated page,” instructs Wisnefski. “JustWeddings.com has a business page, and we also gave Kupid a personal page as well. We hope to reach more people that way, and to get brides, grooms, family, and friends interested in how we can help orchestrate weddings. I think creating a mascot that represents our company in a fun, relatable way is a good idea.”
Presently, JustWeddings.com has no immediate plans for Kupid Love, but that may change in the near future. “Right now, Kupid exists solely on Facebook, but that may soon change,” states Allison. “We are thinking about incorporating him more on the Web site, orchestrating some contests based around him, as well as some other ideas. He is a creation still in the making.”
Kupid Love’s evolution is just one of the elements on JustWeddings.com’s horizon. “We are a young company,” says Allison. “The Web site launched in October and we have all of the ‘nuts and bolts’ in place, but we have many other enhancements that we are setting in place now. We have great things coming to the site for the buyers and service providers in the near future.”
JustWeddings.com is located in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. The site serves as a virtual wedding planner aligning engaged couples to wedding service providers.
