October 06, 2007 - I midst of a colorful function organized on the 11th anniversary of Haryana Maitri Sangh, a community hall ‘Harayana Maitri Bhavan’ was inaugurated at Pritampura recently.The evening started with ‘Bhajans’ (Devotional songs) sung by Pankaj Jeswani, that gathered a lot of applause from the audience. The beginning of the cultural event was marked by the lightning of the lamp by Shri Shiv Dutt Gupta (Chairman of Maharaja Agrasen Aggarwal Ashram Trust) and Shri Arun Gupta (Managing Director- Bansal Wire Industries), Dharmpal Garg were also present at the venue. The on-stage live portrayal of the scenes from the life of ‘Radhe-Krishna’ by the members of Mumbai dance troop left a mesmerizing effect on the viewers.
Even more colors were added to this evening with the performances by dancers from Mumbai, who performed on different devotional songs. Especially the dance on the song ‘Ham Tumhe Makhan Denge’ received great appreciation from the audience, the magic continued with the performance on ‘Ganpati Wandana’ which left the spectators swinging on the tune. The trustees were felicitated with shawl and gold statue of Radhe Krishan on this special occasion for their contribution to the Trust. The Chairman of Maharaja Agrasen Ashram Trust Shri Shiv Dutt Gupta of the trust along with Mr. Arun Guptamr. Shadilal Minda and Mr. Sameer Gupta were felicitated on the occasion. The felicitation ceremony was overtaken by the high dose comedy by stand up comedian and a finalist of Laughter challenge II Kuldeep Dubey, who left the audiences go crazy with his jokes and mimicry. Dubey’s electrifying performance that charged up the audience was followed by a treat organized to celebrate the occasion before dispersal. The crowd enjoyed and appreciated the food and drinks patent to Purani Delhi.
The whole event was managed by financer Mr. Nand Kishor Garg, Mohan Garg, Sunil Garg and Rhishi Jindal on behalf of the Sangh. The contribution and presence of O.P Gupta, C.S Gupta, Ramesh Kanodiya, Ram Kumar Garg and Ramesh Gupta was also worth appreciable.
