March 29, 2007 - Komtell, the distributor for Panasonic telecom products and belonging to the Dubai based Koohiji Group, has scooped the Panasonic Best Distributor Award for 2006 for its IP based PBX (Private Branch eXchange) systems in the Middle East and Africa region. The Award represents an unanimous mandate by Panasonic’s global distributors and celebrates Komtell’s creative marketing and value added customer service initiatives.
Presenting the trophy to the vice chairman and CEO of the Koohiji Group S.S. Rajkumar and Komtell’s general manager, YCSV Prasad, Kazuyoshi Fujiyoshi, President, Panasonic Communications Company (PCC) said: “It is a matter of pride to work with a professional and dynamic company such as Komtell, who has been our key partner for the last 18 years. With its numerous initiatives in the past year for our IP based PBX systems, Komtell has helped set new benchmarks for our distributors worldwide. It has broadened their vision by providing new ideas and tools to achieve success in this relatively new, but extremely important emerging product for the IP era”.
