January 04, 2007 - If you’re planning to buy a home, here’s something that can make your experience as economical and comfortable as possible. It’s a booklet launched by MortgageFit Community seeking to empower the common people with the right knowledge and experience.
The booklet is an initiative taken by Community members towards giving home buyers, especially first time buyers in US, the right information which is a big part of making wise decisions. Says Caron Smith, a moderator at the Community Forums, “We did a survey among the common people and took into account every such thing that bothers them when they decide to buy a home. In the end, it was a joint effort from all of us here at MortgageFit.” Adds Samantha, another Moderator, “Working together to bring out the handbook has been a wonderful experience for all of us. We do expect that it will benefit a wide section of the community.”
The Community has been actively working on to provide quick mortgage advice and guidance through its forums and while doing so they felt - what most consumers require is how home buying or mortgage shopping actually works, that is exploring the entire process in a nutshell. Says Brian, the Marketing Manager at MortgageFit, “We decided to come up with a book that could give the know-how and insider tips on how to finance a home. We even surveyed some of our Community lenders and learnt more on how the market works.”
The Community felt that the booklet should provide exciting add-on features apart from the right information on home buying. Keeping this in mind, the MF team developed worksheets to help people collect data from various lenders even if they apply for online lending. Supplementing these resources, are the decision-making tools to assist people in taking practical decisions before making choices.
The booklet (http://www.mortgagefit.com/bookshelf/buyers-handbook.html) has been developed to help buyers with an overall idea of the home buying process so that they don’t need to go through chunks of resources, which consumes a lot of time. The booklet emphasizes on common questions that can help to get the right information from the lender and provides worksheets and tools to make decision-making easier. In a few words, it gives you each and every detail that can make a big difference in every step of the home buying process.
