December 20, 2007 - KLAS announces the release of its 2007 Top 20 Year-End Report, which details vendor performance ratings for HIT software, professional services and medical equipment. Results are compiled from evaluations received from healthcare professionals during the past 13 months.
The Top 20 report is published semi-annually to provide an overview for each market segment. The Year-End Top 20 provides a final score and vendor rankings for 2007. Year-End leaders receive the coveted “Best in KLAS” designation which lasts for one year.
This year, four new market segments have been added to the Top 20 report. Three of the additions are for Software: Discharge Planning, Medication Order Management Systems and Patient Portals. The fourth addition is Hand-Carried Ultrasound in Medical Equipment.
Best in KLAS vendors will be recognized for excellence in their respective market segments during an awards ceremony held at HIMSS in February 2008.
