May 16, 2009 - King Quality Management is one of several sponsors of the Canadian Quality Congress, which will welcome world leaders in the field of quality management. It's expected that more than 25 countries will be represented at the August congress.
King Quality Management is a natural fit for the congress, as the company works hard to maintain its considerable status in the field of quality management.
Given the difficulty of competing in today's business environment, Tony King believes the congress is arriving in Vancouver at the most ideal time in history.
"The congress is coming to Vancouver at a very opportune moment given the current economic climate," said King, president of King Quality Management. "Good quality management is the foundation for any company's ability to survive hard economic times and to be leaders in the recovery."
Listening to speakers and mingling with others in the quality industry will give participants a chance to refine skills in business management, which can only be helpful in an economic recovery.
"The congress will provide the opportunity for quality professionals from all walks of industry to hear from seasoned experts as well as discuss current quality trends within their own fields," King said. "There is no better place than British Columbia from which to spearhead the economic recovery through attention to quality and King Quality Management is proud to be able to assist through sponsorship of the congress."
King Quality Management offers quality management services in a wide array of industries and fields.
"King Quality Management has a wealth of experience in quality assurance, spanning forty years across the nuclear, marine, medical device and pharmaceutical industries," King said. "Expert quality assurance is provided, no matter what the industry."
The Canadian Quality Congress will be held on the campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver from Aug. 19-21. The inaugural occasion's theme is "Focus on Future: Quality, Innovation and Social Responsibility". Keynote speakers include H. James Harrington, Sister Mary Jean Ryan, and Peter Merrill.
