Kids talent search will have Madison Pettis as surprise presenter

This special talent event -- called "THE" and pronouced tay -- is where kids 6 to 17 will obtain insight into the entertainment industry as they showcased all their many talents in various venues, such as scene work, monologue performances, modeling on the runway, cold reads, and much more. The modeling and acting event brings aspiring young models and talent together with leading modeling and talent agencies from Los Angeles, New York, and other major markets across the country. "The" participants are really put through their paces at events, but they also learn first hand what the agents, managers, and casting directors expect of them as a performer and artist.

Event organizers believe that bringing Pettis to the event as a special "surprise" presenter will really energize participatns, because she is a young actress who began her career at age 5 and is now one of Hollywood’s most sought after juvenile stars.

She portrayed Isabelle Tyler in an episode of The 4400. She was the 2007 Disney Channel Games commentator, and also appeared on Barney and Friends as Bridget and Jackie, in which she sang, danced and acted. She was also nominated for a You Artist Award for Best Performance in a feature film -- Young Acress Age Ten or Younger -- for The Game Plane. In 2008, she cameoed in Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who! and she had roles in Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out? and A Muppet Christmas: Letters to Santa. Pettis also had a small role in Seven Pounds.She is also in Special Agent Oso. She guest stars in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock 2. And in 2009 she appeared in Hannah Montana The Movie.
