July 11, 2007 - The Creative Painter, an easy-to-use Windows program that lets kids have hours of fun painting pictures on their computer screens. Creative Painter is simple to learn and operate.
Kids can experiment with happy, kid-size graphics tools to create personalized works of art. Because it's easy for children to make very attractive pictures with Creative Painter, it encourages them to experiment and exercise their creativity.
Unlike static coloring-book software, Creative Painter lets kids work with colorful background pictures and engaging cartoon characters.
Children can add animated pictures to their paintings, from barking dogs and swaying flowers to swimming fish and flying butterflies. Choose from more than 20 drawing tools, including a paintbrush, pencil, marker pen, crayon, spray paint, and chalk. It's easy for kids to select a tool, adjust its width, and pick its color. The library of 50+ special background pictures provides the starting point, and there is no end to the colors, shapes, textures, and gradients that they can add, including magic patterns not found in other software, or in real life.
Creative Painter lets kids add text to their drawings, in an unlimited variety of styles, sizes, and colors. Kids can experiment with embossing, relief, and other special effects. The program even supports popular drawing devices such as the Wacom tablet.
As children build a gallery of artwork, they see how their creative skills are growing over time. The program lets you save artwork, so it can be imported into other applications. You can turn your kids' drawings into the Windows wallpaper on the home computer, or on your computers at work. Prints of your children's paintings will look great on your refrigerator.
